Association Sportive Féminine de Port-de-Paix

Overview

The Association Sportive Féminine de Port-de-Paix (ASFPP) is a women's football association founded on 20 September 2017 to give girls and young women in the Northwest a structured, dedicated space to play and develop in the sport. ASFPP is headquartered at the Collège Saint François de la Salles in central Port-de-Paix and trains across multiple venues throughout the city.

Mission & Vision

ASFPP exists to train and educate community children through football. The association is built on a clear coaches' code, education, conviviality, collaboration, responsibility, and personal transformation, with coaches expected to model fair play and respect at all times, both on the field and beyond it. The values guiding the system include fair play, discipline, faith, responsibility, creativity, excellence, justice and peace, and resilience. The longer-term vision is to produce female players of the highest quality and to offer them real pathways into the wider game, both inside Haiti and abroad.

What They Have

• A formally established association with five age categories from U11 to U20 • Technical Director Josué Joseph leading a coaching staff of more than ten coaches across all age groups • Approximately 130 players across all categories (35 in U11, 32 in U13, 30 in U15, 35 in U17, plus U20) • Medical and operational support: doctor Camelo Joseph, nurse Paul Teevena, and legal counsel Edler Louima • Four training venues across Port-de-Paix: Parc Cappoix, Parc CNDL, Parc Harold Daniel, and Parc Immaculée de Marie

What They Need

• Regular salaries for the coaching staff • Full match and training equipment: 200 footballs, 150 pairs of football boots, 100 bibs, 160 cones, 30 hurdles, 50 stakes, 15 mannequins, 10 complete kit sets, plus first-aid kits and goal nets • Player nutrition programme, approximately USD 10,000 per month for daily meals on training days • Transport funding for player and staff travel, approximately USD 1,740 per month • Field rental and maintenance support, approximately USD 650 per year
